Abstract of program activity.:
Across Europe - and the world - students are taking an active part in the struggle for social justice and equality and the right to education for all. 2008 marks the 40th anniversary of the 1968 student protest across Europe. Today we are witnessing another wave of student protests as attacks from capital interest against the welfare state and the higher education. What has happened in the 40 years since '68?, and, more importantly, what type of student struggle and student organization are taking form today and in the future? What are the struggles we have ahead of us? How can we work together in these struggles?
