EU climate policy - and what we can do about it
The EU is currently negotiating a new climate and energy package, which sets out its approach to climate change until 2020. This first part of this seminar will describe critically the EU’s proposals, unpicking the jargon of the ‘emissions trading scheme’ and ‘effort sharing’. An interactive second part invites participants to get involved in campaigns to critique and improve the EU’s approach.
