Abstract of program activity.:
Education embedded in the struggle of popular movements is an important tool for social change as it contributes to empowerment and the development of the political and social movements involved. The workshop will focus on experiences and visions from the field of participatory popular and adult education, and aims to promote the constitution of a European network of progressive popular and adult educators. We want to find examples of good practice in order to exchange knowledge and experience and underscore the importance of participatory and dynamic education as a tool for global change. the workshop is even aimed to be a starting point for the development of an European network of progressive popular and adult education agents.
