Fees for program activities

To help financing the ESF it will be necessary to have a fee for organizing seminars, workshops and other program activities. The proposal for these fees, depending on the size of the venues used, is:

Large room - 1 000+ persons SEK 20 000 / 2 000 euros
Large room - 400-600 persons SEK 12 000 / 1 200 euros
Medium room - 200-400 persons SEK 8 000 / 800 euros
Medium room - 100-200 persons SEK 3 000 / 300 euros
Small room - 50-100 persons SEK 1 500 / 150 euros
Small room - 30-50 persons SEK 500 / 50 euros

The costs further underscores the need to make joint proposals for program activities! Organizations not wishing to cooperate with others can only get access to the smallest rooms, and will not be provided with translation.

It should be emphasized that the costs are not included in order to exclude any poor organizations and groups from arranging program activities. In cases where joint financing turns out to be extremely difficult there will of course be efforts to resolve this by solidarity financing and by other means. It should also be noted that the EPA (European Preparatory Assembly) in Istanbul decided that these are maximum fees, so the costs will not be higher than this.

Payment

Due to several practical issues, we have decided to postpone the deadline for payment. As you can't pay until you know the size of your activity, with whom you'll cooperate etc. the decision is that Mondya the 14th of July, after the final European Program Group-meeting, everybody that will hold activities at the ESF 2008 will be contacted and given invoices or instructions on how to do their payment over the web. You will then have until the 25th of July to make the payment.
