Results from the Berlin EPA

The most important decisions to be taken where those about the general themes for the program and where the next ESF should be. The Nordic Organising Committee presented the work done so far, and reports were given from mobilising tours in The Baltic States, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Iberian peninsula. Program

The general themes are now decided, see here. It is now possible for organisations, networks and movements to propose program activities. The last day for submitting proposals is May 1st.
The next meeting of the European program group will be on April 26-27 in Malmö.

Next ESF

The EPA decided that the next ESF will be held in Turkey. Istanbul will be hosting the sixth ESF in 2010.

Next EPA

The next EPA will be in Kiev from June 6-8. The program and the merging of program proposals will be important issues at this EPA, but also slogans for the demonstration and other issues will be discussed. We hope that there will be a large participation from organisations and movements from Central and Eastern Europe at this EPA.
